MARYSVILLE, OH — Drs. Frank Raymond, Norman Raymond, and Matt Hazelbaker of Marysville Obstetrics & Gynecology are proud to welcome Dr. Trista Schrickel to their team of physicians.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Schrickel join our medical practice. She is highly qualified and has been strongly recommended by numerous specialists from Columbus,” said Frank Raymond, a partner at the practice.
Dr. Schrickel’s clinical interests include adolescent health care, urogynecology, and pelvic and laparoscopic surgery. After completing mandatory rotations in fields like pediatrics and emergency medicine, she chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. “The opportunity to get to know my patients and support them through multiple life changes is exciting because I can build relationships, not just treat an illness,” she commented. One way in particular she’d like to make a difference is patient education.
“Being mindful of your health and your body’s signals is critical to maintaining positive physical and mental health,” she said. “Adolescents are a group that can benefit greatly from proper medical education. The skills and lessons they learn can be used throughout their lifetime and will hopefully help prevent significant illness and the issues that can result from uninformed choices.”
Originally from Carrollton, Ohio, Dr. Schrickel recently finished her residency training at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2001. She believes the Marysville community will be a great fit for her, both professionally and personally.
“I grew up in a small town and, now with a son of our own, my husband and I want to be part of a strong, growing community. I’m excited to have the opportunity to serve in this area,” Dr. Schrickel said. “The Marysville Obstetrics & Gynecology practice offers top-quality care in a comfortable environment.
